Full And Part Time Customer Service Representative

What you'll do

At first direct the lights are always on as we are here 24/7, 365 days a year. If our customers want to pay a bill at midnight, no problem. We don’t mess about with automated systems, every customer gets through to a real person, every time. We’re literally always on. Working as a Customer Service Representative you’ll answer calls from our customers, take them through security and deal with their requests. These requests could be anything from setting up a standing order, paying a bill or opening a Savings Account. It's important to have amazing discussions with our customers. During these conversations we want you to take a genuine interest by building rapport and asking open questions so you can establish the customer’s banking needs and discuss what products and services are right for them.

When you'll work

We have full and part time Customer Service Representative vacancies working 35 hours per week.

Our next start date will be Tuesday 7th May.

We're working on what the shift patterns are going to be at the moment but below are some example shift patterns from recent recruitment to give you an idea.

Example 1: Monday 14:00 - 23:30, Tuesday 14:00 - 20:00, Wednesday & Thursday 07:30 - 13:30 and Sunday 16:30 - 01:00.

Example 2: Tuesday 12:30 - 22:00, Wednesday 11:00 - 19:30, Friday 9:00 - 17:30 and Saturday 14:30 - 00:00

These are examples of a typical shift you will work and if you're offered a position there will be others to choose from.

Whatever your age, experience or background you’ll enjoy a full induction and training programme, 10 weeks in total, designed to get you up to speed on the systems, products and services we offer, before you “go live” on the phones. As the training is intensive it is important that you are able to attend the whole of the course, so consequently, you will be unable to take any holidays during your training period. Training is Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:00.
