first direct, with the help of Trees for Cities, is committing to plant up to 3500 trees in 2007 and we want you to help us plant every single one of them. No spade or wellies needed, all we ask is that you log onto Internet Banking and TURN OFF your paper statements.
Click here to log on to your internet bankingOne real tree will be planted for every 20 accounts which no longer require paper statements, and you can vote for where we plant the real trees. We are currently working with sites in Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, London and the Midlands.
As a visual representation of the number of paper statements turned off, a virtual forest will grow and grow. Each tree will represent one account.
